Comments: I've had nothing but great results with this servo. I now have four that will be installed on a few different 450 size helis. Nice tolerances, no slop, verified the bearings and adequate grease. I also have the EMAX Servo programmer that I use to verify the parameters (haven’t changed anything from stock yet). The price has increased in the past few months and some venders are low or out of stock.

Application(s): Rudder servo for 450 and 500 helicopter
Comments: Performs well enough but internal wiring and soldering is fragile with little solder and no glue over the solder joints anywhere. When I opened the bottom of the case after a few months before putting it on a beater 500 one of the wires to the motor fell off. (I believe this was just a ground wire, it was thinner than the other two wires, green rather than red and was attached to the motor case. In any case I resoldered it and put liquid electrical tape on all of the solder joints. I wouldn't trust it in a high vibration environment like a helicopter, without glue on the solder joints this servo is a ticking time bomb waiting to crash your aircraft.
