March 31, 2017Application(s): trex 500 tail servo
Comments: Had a lot of slop in the output shaft...after taking apart it seems the piece under the output shaft that rides on the pot shaft was installed upside down...raised part must go down toward the pot! Probably screwed up by previous owner?

June 22, 2016Application(s): Helicopter Tarot 450 + Bell 212 fuselage
Comments: Very good tail servo. Works fine with Tarot GY-650 gyro (programmed as 1520uS 333Hz servo).
I'm using it with a Tarot 450 Sport and Bell 212 fuselage.chrispyrr
November 17, 2015Application(s): trex 500 tail servo
Comments: I just felt like it quickly lost performance then ended up breaking after minor crash replaced the gears and it worked bad after (yes I installed correct)

September 7, 2011Application(s): Throttle Servo on a Synergy N5c
Comments: Servo was very weak from the get go. Next thing I know the gears stripped and it was weaker after I replaced them. I should have went with the 9650 from the start. Other people seem to have good luck with the 9257 but I wanted to put my experience out there which was not good.

March 8, 2011Application(s): heli tail HK450pro Torque Tube
Comments: Thanks to Rumblecloud, I tried one as well.
I have this servo coupled with a HK401b(401clone) gyro on a HK450PRo TT heli, before I had a digital Turnigy DS480 tail (same speed). There is NO comparison. The Futaba is far superior. Did not even change the set up. ROCK SOLID and it is windy.

February 12, 2011Application(s): Tail rotor servo on a Trex 500 ESP. GY520 gyro.
Comments: Strong sturdy tail servo. Excellent piros. Runs well in the wind.

October 26, 2010Application(s): Tail rotor servo, 450 class electric helicopter
Comments: I have this servo coupled with a Detrum GY48V gyro on one of my helis and a Turnigy DS480 tail servo coupled with the same gyro on another 450 and there is NO comparison. The Futaba is far and away stronger, more precise and reliable. I've gone thru the setup on it once and it is rock solid with no wag whatsoever.
