Application(s):
Cyclic on a TREX 450 sport
Comments:
My Align TREX 450 Sport Super Combo kit included 3 Align DS410M servos for cyclic control. 6 of them died on me. Based on my positive experience with a HiTech servo in my nitro buggy, I bought a set of HS5065-MG servos to replace the DS410M's. So far I have many flights and not a single failure. Also the 5065MG's are much more accurate. The best way to explain is they seem to have less play in them than the Align DS410M's did. Every little stick movement causes a reaction in the heli, this makes it easier to fly when you're trying to be precise. So in short, at this point I am very satisfied with these 5065-MG's and I would recommend them for cyclic control on a 450 sized heli. Note that I have only bee flying heli's for about 7 months so I'm not a fantastic pilot and I cannot comment on how these work under inteanse 3D flight, but for general flying around they are great.
