    Application(s): Traxxas Slash 2wd BL2S

Comments: Stripped the plastic gears on 2 of these 2075 within a month of on road use and small off road jumps. No crashes. Absolute junk servo.

    Application(s): Revo 3.3

Comments: For me its fast enough, I did not experience any lags. Two of them are strong to manage steering in any condition. Energy consumption also looks reasonable, 4 tanks without problem. Like them.

    Application(s): Tamiya tt01, tt02, anything

Comments: this is a good back up one to have in your tool box. Your more expensive servos will break because they all do. this is a cheap option to get you through a gap

    Application(s): Traxxas 2wd brushless slash

Comments: After some light bashes on the first run, the 2075 started making a funny whining noise and would make clicking noises if I turned the wheel left. After disassembly to clean components and check the gears, it started to run even when steering position was in neutral and then pooped out. Very cheap and crummy product.

Application(s): I bought the same servo after this one broke and after the first run it shut down and broke after a 30 minute run on our taxxas slash 1/10

    Comments: It sucks

    Application(s): traxxas summit

Comments: my 11yo son saved for 2 years because he heard the summit was the best. His own money, it's a shame that traxxas puts servo's that strip out in the first 20 min of light driving the day the thing arrived. hopefully traxxas will warranty them, cause it will take the kid a couple of months to scrape together the $80+ it will take for a new set. Shame on traxxas for putting such low end/mis specified parts into a truck that costs close to $600

    Application(s): Traxxas VXL 4x4

Comments: Gears stripped on 2nd battery pack with mild bashing - Traxxas warrantied it with both a replacement gearset and another servo both of which sit in the spare parts bin. Maybe with the $20 gears these are OK but otherwise I would not use them.

    Application(s): new in a Rustler 4x4 vlx

Comments: Can I give it a negative number? less than 45 minutes light run one crash and it crapped out the gears. nice for a $400 toy! What junk!

Application(s): Traxxas Unlimited Desert Racer (UDR)

Comments: I had this in 1/7 Traxxas UDR. The servo last just couple of hours. Any 10 USD no name Chinese servo will beat this badly with quality and endurance. Shame on Traxxas! At least that their other components work great and honestly Unlimited Desert racer (without this standard servo) works amazingly. Never buy this servo!!!

Application(s): Steering stampede 2wd vxl, Steering Rustler vxl

Comments: total trash. The one in my Stampede burned out completely in less than 2 months. No jumping/bashing, etc.
The one in my Rustler broke 2 teeth on two separate gears in less than a month. Again, no bashing, just dirt lot running.
"Hi torque" means nothing when the servo burns out and breaks due to cheap plastic gears.
If you get them stock in a new traxxas vehicle, replace them ASAP with something decent.

    Application(s): Slash VXL 2wd, Lipo

Comments: I had two 2075 servos just die on my Slash for no apparent reason. One died with in the first 15 minutes of the very first run out of the box. The replacement 2075 Traxxas sent died after three batteries worth of run time. Switched to the cheaper 2055, no problems after 2 months+ of bashing.

    Application(s): emax & erevo

Comments: I wish I could find some of those metal gears for the Savox SC-0251MG, Or Traxxas upgraded metal gears to swap into them!

I've used this servo on Emax, Tmax, Revo, Erevo, Slash 2wd, Slash 4X4, AND have one in my Duratrax Evader. Great price for a decent servo.

On the emax, & Erevo, both running 6s 5500MAH bateries, & Castle Mamba Monster I frequently break the teeth off the gears. I presume the heavier weight of the Emax & Erevo, coupled with the insane speed cause the issues I have with using the servo in them.

I wish I could find some of those metal gears for the Savox SC-0251MG, OR a Traxxas upgraded metal gears to swap into them!!!!!!!!

    Application(s): Traxxas Slash 2wd

Comments: There is a nice metal gear upgrade you can do to this servo when the teeth inevitably snap off the internal plastic gears. According to 08kgraves on the Traxxas forum, the metal servo gears from the Savox SC-0251MG fit perfectly. The metal gears can be purchased for $11 +$3 shipping on eBay as opposed to $5 for the fragile Traxxas plastic gears (Traxxas part #2072) on Amazon.

    Application(s): Summit

Comments: Check Twitter. I've made posts on my experience with this servo and with servo 2065. Dealer was Hobby Alley on 170 street Edmonton Alberta Canada. Bought a Summit 1 week ago. Had to replace 2 2075 servos and now 2 2065 servos. I've spent over $3000.00 Canadian on many traxxas. So far the Summit has been a huge money pit. Should be called the PLUMMET instead of SUMMIT.

Application(s): Traxxas Slash, off road, bashing, no racing.

Comments: I bought a traxxas slash ultimate a few months ago. Amazing truck. The servo is good, I like how it's waterproof, and it's very strong. (Can pull through pretty much anything I've thrown at it)
It does seem a bit slow. I don't know if this can be adjusted or anything, but it takes almost 0.2 second to have the arm to go 60°. In the high speed R/C world, 0.2 seconds is a lot.
Anyways good sevo, seems a bit slow. Considering an upgrade for my beautiful slash.

    Application(s): Traxxas Summit - Brushless CC 2200kv, MM2

Comments: Plastic gears are weak and prone to shearing off. No good if you are bashing with brushless setup running hard and fast. Crawling works fine.....high speed will destroy this servo. I'm spending the extra clams and upgrading to waterproof servo with metal gears. Just my .02

Application(s): slash 4x4 steering servo, and scx10 steering servo

Comments: I have this servo in my Slash 4x4 and replaced the steering servo in my SCX10 with one after it's stock servo crashed. For being absolutely waterproof it gets an A++! Have had it submerged almost more than dry without a glitch. Bash my Slash 4x4 a lot...lots of broken parts...but, the servo still works great. Doesn't seem to have the torque they say it does, though. Can't even turn the wheels on the SCX10 under load. But, still scores good with me due to the price.

    Application(s): sc10,slash,sc10 4x4,ecx boost,rc10gt

Comments: this servo has never let me down, bashing or racing, great torqe and speed, recently got 2nd place in A-main with this servo in my sc104x4 off road event and took first in slash on clay oval.4 stars because the lack of metal gears but still does a great job and i will continue to purchase them.

    January 14, 2013

Application(s): Traxxas Slash 2wd Ford Raptor edition. Heavy bashing, off road racing, street running

Comments: Based on the regular use of my 2wd slash with castle 5700kv motor and esc combo, the traxxas 2075 is a decent servo, especially for a stock supplied servo. Being waterproof is an added bonus. Used on an almost daily basis since last summer. I use my truck for some heavy bashing through to racing for fun. Trx-2075 is ample in a light weight rc like the slash, bandit, stampede & would be good in 10th scale drift/touring cars. The price is reasonable with rebuild kits avaliable its unlikey I'll be replacing it anytime soon.

  • Maxximvs

    January 3, 2013

    Application(s): Traxxas 2wd Slash VXL

Comments: This is an awesome servo. Torque spec makes it competitive with higher-priced servos, and it's both strong enough and fast enough to get the job done. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for the bigger, heavier monster trucks, but for lighter trucks like the Slash or Stampede, and even for cars or trucks from other manufacturers, it will more than get the job done. Being waterproof is a big plus. Even if you never plan to run in the wet stuff, it's good to know you can. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd give it a 9.5. If it had metal gears it would definitely by a 10.

Application(s): Racing, 4x4 Slash, 4x4 Stampede Truggy Conversion, 2WD Slash

Comments: Pointless for racing. Fine for bashing. Way too slow and not enough torque to be competitive.

  • Thrash911

    October 23, 2012

Application(s): Original servo in Traxxas Slash 4x4 Ultimate.

Comments: Unlike with Traxxas' 2080, I have NEVER had a problem with this servo! I have had my Slash 4x4 for 10 months now. I only use it for bashing. There have been some horrible crashes, where other things have broken. But this servo is still going strong. So, from my experience, this servo is great! At least, for the Slash 4x4. :-)

Application(s): steering servo in 1/10 scale rc electric vehicles most recently a tamiya cr-01 scale truck.

Comments: At 9kg this is a useful mid-range servo for most applications that i need. The added water resistant feature makes for relatively trouble free regular use and the price is quite reasonable.
